Save the dates!!
We will be having our next working bee on Saturday, Au-
gust 2nd, weather permitting. If not, the 16th August.
There are quite a few jobs to do, both big and small, so
there will be something for almost everyone to do, to be
able to lend a hand and keep our church safe, clean and
tidy! Let Irene know if you ar able to come. Thanks in advance.

What a day at the Soup and Toastie's today. Thanks to Steve and Chris for cooking, Thea, Anne and Irene for their help in the kitchen, and the delicious soup made by Denise, Jean and Ray. We love our community and sharing with you all. Sorry no photos as too busy in the kitchen, but next time!!!

Today we pause to honour the strength and resilience of the Stolen Generations and their families.
National Sorry Day marks the anniversary of the Bringing Them Home report, tabled in Parliament in 1997. It was a landmark truth-telling process that exposed the deep and ongoing harm caused by the forced removal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from their families.

Nearly 30 years on, the pain remains—and so does the unfinished business. Many of the report’s 54 recommendations are yet to be fully implemented. Too many survivors are still waiting for access to justice, records, healing, and culturally safe support as they grow older.

The time to act is now.

Today, we remember. We honour. And we call for action that upholds dignity, truth, and justice for every Stolen Generations survivor.
