“Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can. Hatred cannot drive out hatred, only love can.” -Dr Martin Luther King Jnr.

Let us all light a candle tonight at 8pm for Helen Haines.

Let us find peace and love in our hearts and share that with others. Because the more peace and love there are in us, the more peace and love there will be in our homes, suburbs and country.

Jesus Christ is the light and love of the world, and because of Him, darkness and hatred will not have the last word.

During our Sunday Services on 25 October 2026, we will pause in silent prayer for Helen and for peace in our hearts and our country.

Please join us:

8.30am -Holy Communion at St James Kingscliff

10.30am -Holy Communion at St Mark’s Pottsville

A truly refreshing and soulfull day last Saturday attending to the things of the spirit led superbly by Frank Jones, and assisted by the Rev’d Mandy Larkin and Chris Parson.
Thank you to the Tweed Network of parishes and school for coming together in prayer and spiritual nourishment.
