St Mary's Catholic Parish covers the townships of Kingaroy (St Mary's) and Kumbia (Our Lady of Peace) in the South Burnett region of south-east Queensland. We share our Parish Priest with the adjoining Nanango Parish which covers the townships of Nanango (Our Lady Help of Christians), Blackbutt (Sacred Heart) and Cooyar (St Malachy's).

🎶 Kingaroy Eisteddfod Success! 🎶

Congratulations to our Saint Mary’s Concert Band – Aylah, Lachlan, Chloe, Rachael and Mark – on their outstanding performance at the Kingaroy Eisteddfod!

The group placed 1st and were awarded Instrumental Ensemble Champion (P–12 – Beginner Ensembles) – an incredible achievement. 👏

☘️💙 Be the warmth this winter 💙☘️

St Patrick's students are invited to 'be the warmth this winter' by participating in our free dress day on Thursday 4th June.

Come to school dressed in your winter woollies and bring along a gold coin donation towards the Vinnies Winter Appeal.

The free dress day also coincides with our school disco on this day, with the theme 'Winter Wonderland'. ❄️

Today we observe National Sorry Day and tomorrow we begin National Reconciliation Week. We honour the Traditional Custodians of this land and continue walking the path of reconciliation. We remember the Stolen Generations and pray for a future where all people are treated with dignity and respect. May we be guided by truth, strengthened through prayer and committed to meaningful action for the good of one another. Pray with us today 🙏❤️
