Soโ€ฆwhat does surrender mean?

Weโ€™ve heard from our members, but what does God tell us about surrender ๐Ÿ“–โ”

SOW UNSW is having our annual roadtrip on September 10-12th, so to those who are attending GET KEEN, and those who cannot make it this year, please be praying for us!

Prayer Points:
- For the time at RT to be a convicting time away from the world where members can focus and deeply meditate in Godโ€™s word
- For Godโ€™s sovereign hand to be over RT so that everyone will be safe and everything will run smoothly according to His plan.
- For the serving team, that God will work through them and that theyโ€™ll be able to prioritise sitting and enjoying God during RT
- For God to speak through our Chaplain, Josh Kim as he delivers the sermon series for RT so that our membersโ€™ hearts can be shaped into a posture of surrender

As Christians we are to communicate the truth in the manner of the truth. If we are speaking about grace, we should be speaking in grace ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

This week our final workshop is about apologetics - ย a reasoned verbal answer given to explain and justify the Christian faith. ๐Ÿคฏ Following up on our past workshops on evangelism and testimonies, this last workshop will help us equip ourselves to being confident in defending our faith. ๐Ÿซท

During the holidays of UNSW, the ๐Ÿ’š SOW UNSW ๐Ÿ’š family will be going away for 2 nights to spend time in the Word, and in fellowship ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’• Following the termโ€™s theme of โ€œManning the Missionโ€ the theme of the road trip will be SURRENDER.

Whether youโ€™re a weekly member of SOW UNSW, or want to get involved into the community, the road trip will be a great opportunity to enjoy each otherโ€™s company as we learn, grow and share what it means to surrender.
