📢 Community Census Event – Be Counted, Shape Our Community

The Australian Bureau of Statistics is hosting a FREE Community Census Event in Karratha, and we warmly encourage all our St. Paul's parishioners to participate.

The Census is much more than a collection of information. It helps governments and local communities understand who lives in our region and what services are needed.

The information collected helps guide decisions on funding for healthcare, schools, roads, emergency services, aged care, childcare, community facilities, and other essential services.

By taking part, you help ensure that Karratha and the Pilbara receive the resources needed for our growing community.

Whether you need assistance completing your Census or simply want to enjoy a welcoming community gathering, there will be:

💬 Friendly Census support from ABS staff

🎉 Congratulations to Our Hamper Raffle Winner! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Santi, the lucky winner of our St. Paul's Parish Garage Sale Hamper Raffle! 🥳🎁

The winning ticket was drawn last weekend by Fr. Gerard, and we're delighted to present Santi with this fantastic hamper, valued at $400.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets, donated prizes, volunteered their time, and supported our Parish Garage Sale.

Your generosity and community spirit helped make the event a wonderful success.

Funds raised from the raffle and garage sale will go towards helping St. Paul's Parish meet the increasing costs of church insurance, ensuring we can continue serving our parish and the wider Karratha community.

As we continue to pray for the eternal repose of the souls of Brother Julius Ferrer and Brother Ramil Yabut, we would like to advise everyone of the following updated Novena schedule.

Day 7 Sunday: 6:00 PM
Day 8 Monday: 6:30 PM
Day 9 Tuesday: 6:30 PM

We warmly invite our parish family and the wider community to continue joining us in prayer as we entrust Brother Julius and Brother Ramil to God's infinite mercy and ask for comfort, strength, and peace for their families and loved ones.

✨ Relic of St. Carlo Acutis at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Karratha ✨

We were blessed to welcome the Relic of St. Carlo Acutis to our parish this evening. Following the 6:00 PM Holy Mass, Kate shared the inspiring story of Carlo's life, reminding us that holiness is possible even in today's digital world.

St. Carlo's deep love for the Eucharist led him to use his computer skills to create a website documenting Eucharistic miracles, helping countless people grow closer to Christ. His famous words continue to inspire us:
"The Eucharist is my highway to Heaven."

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special evening of prayer and reflection. May St. Carlo Acutis continue to inspire us to live our faith with joy and courage.

🕊️ NOVENA FOR THE REPOSE OF THE SOULS OF BROTHER JULIUS FERRER & BROTHER RAMIL YABUT 🕊️
With heavy hearts, our St. Paul's Parish family joins the Filipino community in mourning the tragic passing of Brother Julius Ferrer and Brother Ramil Yabut.

They will be remembered not only for their warm smiles and generous hearts, but also for the kindness, friendship, and joy they shared with everyone they met.

Their sudden passing has left a deep void in our community, and our thoughts and prayers remain with their families and loved ones during this time of immense sorrow.

We invite everyone to come together in faith as we pray for the eternal repose of their souls.
