Pine Rivers Uniting Church

23/10/2026

The 39th Synod of the Uniting Church in Queensland is underway at Alexandra Park on the Sunshine Coast!

Members from congregations and ministries across Queensland have gathered for four days of worship, prayer, fellowship and discernment as we reflect on the life and future of our Church.

Pastor Jason is attending on behalf of Pine Rivers Uniting Church.

Please keep the Synod in your prayers as we seek God’s wisdom and guidance for the journey ahead. 🙏

🎁 110 boxes filled with love and ready to go! ❤️🌏

Every Christmas, our Girls’ Brigade lovingly packs gift boxes filled with special surprises for children overseas, sharing joy, kindness and the love of God.

On Sunday, Cindy-Lee shared with the congregation the story behind this year’s collection, as we celebrated the wonderful efforts of everyone involved.

110 boxes, 110 opportunities to bring a smile to a child’s face this Christmas! 🎄❤️

A big thank you to our Girls’ Brigade and everyone who helped make this possible! 💕

🤍🍬 White Sunday / Lolly Sunday at Pine Rivers! 🍭🤍

What a joyful morning of worship, fellowship and sweet treats!

Rev Paul reminded us that even lollies can share a message about God’s love! 🦷 Teeth lollies represented the smile and joy God gives us, 🐟 chocolate fish reminded us to be fishers of people, and 👶 jelly babies reminded us to love one another as brothers and sisters in God’s family.

There were plenty of smiles, lots of lollies, and a wonderful photo of our church family, all dressed in white! 🤍

A sweet celebration of faith, love and joy! 🍬❤️
