Let’s be honest: faith is hard work.

It’s not just something we talk about on Sundays; it’s something we have to live out when life gets messy.

Think about it—our faith gets tested by almost everything. Sometimes it's hard times, temptations, or outright pushback. Other times, oddly enough, it’s actually success that distracts us. Jesus didn't sugarcoat this. In Matthew 24:9-14, He warned that things would get tough, people would turn away, and a lot of people's love would grow cold. But He called us to stand firm. True faith isn't passive. It’s active. It reminds us that faith without works is dead.

So, how do we actually stay faithful when the pressure is on? It takes a mix of grit, humility, perseverance, and contentment to remain faithful under pressure.

At the end of the day, it comes down to how we finish the race. We overcome the hard stuff the same way the early church did: "by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony," just like it says in Revelation 12:10-11. We just need to keep our eyes on the prize and fix our hope on Christ, because as He promises in Revelation 22:12, He is coming back, and He’s bringing His reward with Him.

After the service, we all hung out for some great fellowship time together. And a huge shoutout to everyone celebrating a birthday or anniversary this June! May the Lord truly bless you and keep you, not just this year, but for all the years to come.

🌟 Our Majestic Kids Shine Bright! 🌟

Our incredible Majestic Kids stood up and confidently recited their Bible memory verses. It is so inspiring to watch these young hearts hide God's Word in their minds and live out what they are learning each week from their Sunday School.

Proverbs 3:3: "Do not let kindness and truth leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart." ✨

We are so grateful for our dedicated Sunday School teachers and parents who are helping nurture these kids into strong, faithful leaders. Keep shining bright, Majestic Kids! You are truly a blessing to our church family. 🤍

Unwavering faith stands firm even when outcomes are uncertain - a faith that declares, "But even if He does not." (Daniel 3:18). True obedience means choosing God over compromise, trusting Him fully regardless of pressure, fear, or results.

Compromise starts small. It’s easy to let compromise creep in when fear of rejection or peer pressure takes over. But when we refuse to bend, our lives reflect something beautiful: a conviction rooted in courage and complete surrender to God's sovereignty.

HOW IS YOUR BUSINESS?

The Bahay ng Pastor Lifegroup discussed business God's way with the following recap.

Proverbs 11:1 tells us that God delights in honesty. In business, dishonesty may bring quick gains, but they’re temporary, bitter, and often bring trouble into one’s own house.

Honesty is required from both the seller and the buyer. Scripture even shows the difference between gifts and bribes—Proverbs 17:8 speaks of gifts that open doors, while Proverbs 15:27 warns that bribes destroy families.

At the end of the day, the real issue is the heart’s motive. When our hearts are right before God, our business reflects His character.

Additional highlights to the lifegroup on the night aside from food, fellowship and Bible Verse game are celebrating people on their birthdays and the "Bless the Host Culture".

Kallangur Life Group met at IKEA on Thursday night for fellowship and Bible study.

Topic: Poverty and Wealth

"The rich and the poor have this in common, the Lord is the maker of them all." (Proverbs 22:2)

In this world there are rich people and poor people. Some can afford all of life's luxuries, others have to struggle to make ends meet, while many others are destitute.

Unlike men, God is impartial - neither man is better than the other. So wealth is not an end in itself, but an aid to achieving a prosperous life.

We learned the advantages of wealth and disadvantages of poverty. We are reminded as well about the wise acquisition and use of wealth.

The great benefit of riches is not having them but using them. The reason the giver will be requited for his gifts and generosity is because he is lending to the Lord.

In closing, Bro Begie Mejares shared to us the parable of 10 mina which is found in Luke 19:11-27, the parable of Ten Minas- this is about a good steward and accountability.

The Bracken Ridge Life Group learned about the weight of our words and the power of the tongue 🗣️✨

In a world that thrives on "hearing the latest," it is easy to get caught up in the cycle of gossip. But we must pause and ask ourselves: Are my words building others up, or am I participating in the silent destruction of a reputation?

Gossip doesn't just damage the person being talked about; it diminishes the integrity of the one speaking. Once a rumor starts, the damage is often irreversible. It breeds distrust, creates unnecessary strife, and creates a chasm in our relationships.

Let’s choose to be people who prioritise truth, grace, and silence over idle talk. Remember, if you wouldn’t say it to someone’s face, it’s not worth saying behind their back.
