We have been asked to assist a single mum with 2 children living in Kambalda. She is requiring a food hamper that we have dropped off to her to help her out. She is also seeking a bed or a mattress for her teenage son who is without a bed at the moment. If you can help by calling to our office to pick up the hamper and or have a bed or mattress surplus to your needs, please phone our office - 90 212100. Any help would be most appreciated.

We have been asked to provide a food hamper for a mum and daughter in Kambalda (they don't want money, just need some food to get through a difficult patch). A PRAY FOR OUR MOTHER MARY ON HER FEAST DAY
Most holy Virgin Immaculate, my Mother Mary, to you who is the Mother of my Lord, the queen of the universe, the advocate, the hope, the refuge of sinners, I who am the most miserable of all sinners, have recourse this day.

I venerate you, great queen, and I thank you for the many graces you have bestowed upon me even until this day; in particular for having delivered me from the hell which I have so often deserved by my sins. I love you, most dear Lady; and for the love I bear you, I promise to serve you willingly forever and to do what I can to make you loved by others also.

I place in you all my hopes for salvation; accept me as your servant and shelter me under your mantle, you who is the Mother of mercy. And since you are so powerful with God, deliver me from all temptations, or at least obtain for me the strength to overcome them until death. From you I implore a true love for Jesus Christ.

Through you I hope to die a holy death. My dear Mother, by the love you bear to Almighty God, I pray you to assist me always, but most of all at the last moment of my life. Forsake me not then, until you shall see me safe in heaven, there to bless you and sing of thy mercies through all eternity. Such is my hope.

SAFEGUARDING SUNDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER 2026
The Catholic Church in Australia marks Safeguarding Sunday (formerly Child Protection Sunday) on the second Sunday of September each year - at the conclusion of National Child Protection Week.
We recommit to practices that support survivors and make the Catholic Church and its ministries the safest possible place for children and people at risk. Rebuilding trust and confidence in the Church requires constant work and vigilance.

ANNUAL COOLGARDIE COMMUNITY MASS
Our Annual Coolgardie Community Mass is being held on Sunday 20th September at 9.00am at the beautiful St Mary's Church, Coolgardie. After the Mass, you will be able to join in the festivities and parade taking place in Bayley St, Coolgardie.
We have a 21 seater bus travelling to and from Coolgardie that day at a cost of $10.00 return. To reserve a seat on the bus, please phone our office - 90 212100.

A Memorial Mass is being held for the dearly beloved late Mrs Queen Ovgiagele at 5.30pm on Wednesday 2nd September 2026 at St Mary's Catholic Church, Kalgoorlie (Brookman St) followed by light refreshments in the St Mary's Parish Hall (in the Church carpark).
Our deepest condolences to Queen's family and friends.

Just a reminder that our Annual Kambalda Community Mass and 52nd Anniversary is taking place this Sunday 2nd August at 11.00am at St John Vianney in Kambalda followed by a celebratory lunch.
