Starts at 5pm at Fassifern Salvation Army, George Street Kalbar.

This Homelessness Week, we’re reminded that homelessness is not just about having nowhere to sleep.

It can mean living in a car, couch surfing, staying in unsafe housing, or not knowing where you’ll be next week.

Across Australia, many people are facing impossible choices because safe and affordable housing is out of reach.

At The Salvation Army, we believe everyone deserves dignity, respect and a safe place to call home.

This Homelessness Week, we’re standing with people experiencing homelessness and calling for action now.

On Sunday 5th July our dear friend and brother David (Darby) Johnson was Promoted to Glory and is now in the safe arms of Jesus.

A celebration of his life will be held at The Salvation Army Fassifern on this Friday 10th July at 10am.

We thank God for David's life and influence on so many people and he will be greatly missed as a Soldier and member of our Church.

A live stream of the service will also be available via this page and our respective YouTube page.

Well done, good and faithful servant.

Community Meal is back on tomorrow night 🎉🎉- 5pm at Fassifern Salvation Army Youth Hall 74 George Street Kalbar.

Come along and join us for a Roast Pork dinner and connect with other people. There is always a seat for you at the Table.

Feeling incredibly grateful today.

A huge thank you to QCWA Boonah for their generous donations. These meals will go directly to supporting individuals and families in need through our Connect Space. Your kindness makes a real difference, and we truly appreciate your support. Thank you also to Fassifern Community Centre for allowing QCWA Boonah to use their kitchen to cook these meals.

A huge thank‑you to everyone who came out to last week’s Community Meal — our first one and it was a fantastic turnout and such a positive night.

Rainy day got you down? Join us again tonight at 5pm, for another chance to share a nice hot meal and connect with other people. Everyone is welcome, and there’s always a seat for you at the table.

Tonight we are having Cannelloni Lasagne & Chocolate Brownie for dessert. See you there.

Our awesome Volunteers are out collecting today at Arthur Clive's Aratula and outside IGA in Boonah.

Come say hello, have a chat, and if you’re able, give what you can. Every dollar helps us continue supporting people right here in our community. All money donated stays locally to be used in the Scenic Rim.
