Masses for the public have resumed at the usual times of 12:10 Monday to Friday and 6 p.m. on Sundays. Seating has been rearranged to comply with the directives given, and hand sanitisers are available.

Message from Fr Isidore: Archbishop Timothy Costelloe has announced that Masses are suspended for the next two weeks; that is from yesterday, 18th March till 1st April, 2020. This shall be reviewed after the 2 weeks. Parishioners have been dispensed from the Sunday obligation during this time. All parishioners are encouraged to increase their time for private prayer and access Mass via streaming or Channel 10 as explained at the link.

Note that all Churches and Holy Spirit Chapel shall remain open for Private Prayers, Confession, Adoration and Devotions. Anybody who will want to be part of the 24 hour Adoration from the 26th – 27th of March is welcome. I shall expose on the afternoon of the 26th, and repose 27th noon.

We welcome back to Perth, Fr Erasmus N. Mortty, the immediate past Chaplain of the Holy Spirit Chapel, Joondalup. Fr Erasmus is visiting Perth briefly and will meet Bishop Sproxton to discuss the progress of the Yendi Diocese (Ghana) partnership with the Archdiocese, and seek support from his friends in Perth to purchase and ship a 40 foot container of school items and equipment to Yendi. He will also meet ECU authorities on partnership with St Vincent College of Education in Yendi, that Fr Erasmus presently heads in Ghana.
