Father’s Day at The Refinery! 💙

What a MASSIVE Sunday we had celebrating all the incredible Dads, Grandads and Father figures in our church family!

We began with opening prayer led by one of our awesome youth, followed by Amazing Grace, chosen especially by the men in our church. 🙏

Pastor Gavin then brought a powerful message on Goliath and the reminder to rely on God.

Communion was beautifully led by Brendon before we continued the celebrations with a Father’s Day lunch! 🍩 We shared food(well mainly donuts!) and a heap of laughs, as we all played a very entertaining “Guess the Baby Pic” Quiz! 😂

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special — and to all the Dads and Father figures we celebrated! 💙

See you next Sunday at 10am as we continue with Bad Boys of the Bible and King Nebuchadnezzar 🙌

The Refinery Kids have been having an AMAZING time in kids church! Over the past few weeks we have been learning about creation through crafts that range from collages to cookies and cushions!
Last week the kids got to show the whole church what they had been learning and they were absolutely brilliant in their presentation!
This week we are looking forward to our Father’s Day craft with some gifts to make and take home for our Dads.

When It’s Time to Rebuild 🧱

Our LEGO wall was a fun reminder of what Nehemiah teaches us: when God gives the vision, we respond in obedience, come together in unity, and build what He’s called us to build.

And yes… everything is awesome when everyone brings their piece of lego!

We had the most amazing “cup-filling” day at One Love 2026! 💜🤍💜

The day focused on “Satisfaction” and the reminder that satisfaction isn’t found in what we have, but in who we have — and that in Jesus, we already have all we need.

It was such a well-organised day, with delicious morning tea and lunch options, and the added bonus of bumping into friends from other churches!

Our cups are definitely feeling a little fuller today!
