Glory be to God for allowing us to reach the end of this blessed Passion Week.

We conclude ስቅለት ዓርብ (Good Friday) denouncing the betrayal of Judas without repentance, the injustice of those who condemned the Righteous One, and ultimately the works of the Satan. Above all, we celebrate the patience, humility, and immeasurable love of our Lord.

Though we mourn His crucifixion, we do so with hope, for through His voluntary suffering and death, He has trampled down death and broken the bonds of sin.

We await with reverence and faith the glory of His Holy Resurrection (ትንሣኤ), knowing that the Cross is the beginning of our salvation and victory.

May God grant us to reach the celebration of His Resurrection in peace, unity, love, and renewed spirits!

On this Holy Thursday, we remember the humility and boundless love of our Lord Jesus Christ, who washed the feet of His disciples.

As written in John 13:4-5 & 14-15:-
"He rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself. After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet..."

"If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you."

Even knowing the suffering that awaited Him, our Lord chose humility, service, and love.

May we learn from His example: to serve one another with pure hearts, humility at the forefront, and to love as He loved.

As written in Matthew 21:

9 "Hosanna to the Son of David!
'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!' Hosanna in the highest!"

15 But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" they were indignant

16 and said to Him, "Do You hear what these are saying?"

And Jesus said to them, "Yes. Have you never read,
'Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants
You have perfected praise'?"

On Palm Sunday (Hosa'ena), children are essential in the praise of Christ's entry.
