About Grace Faith Christian Discipleship
Our name tells all there is to be known about us:
• Grace Faith – is our doctrine – we teach the balance of grace and faith.
• Christian – is who we are.
• Discipleship – is what we do – teaching how to rightly divide the Word of Truth …the Bible (2Tim 2:15). We preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is the Power of God unto Salvation (Rom 1:16) but it is
the call on our lives that sets this ministry apart. We’ve been called to teach how to rightly divide the Word of Truth …the Bible. The Church as a whole has and is doing a great job evangelising the world to Jesus …Christianity. However what’s been lacking, until now, is discipleship of those Christians. Jesus said in the great commission (Matt 28:19): Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations…
I was born-again in Sunday school at about nine years of age but I wasn’t discipled until I was 43 years of age. I ask, when were you discipled? Then God has led you to the right place …amen. I like this analogy: As a babe, we were all weaned from milk and placed on solid food. Discipleship is weening from the milk of the Word and being placed on solid food (1Cor 3:1-3; Heb 5: 12-14). We are all to be God dependent not pastor dependent. God (Jesus) commanded us all to be discipled to get us to the place where: (1John 2:27) But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. Please remember one of the golden rules of rightly dividing the Word which is, not to make a doctrine out of any ‘singe verse’ of the Bible as they all must work together. What I mean is this, if 1John 2:27 applied from the moment you were born again then why would God have placed teachers in the Church and why would He want you to be discipled? Well the answer is this: We teachers are here in the body of Christ to prepare you …discipleship is to prepare you, for the work of ministry to which God has and will call you (Eph 4:11-15).
