'What is Your Plan to take that city?'
"...But it’s my fifth column that I’m expecting to take the city for me."

History attributes the "Fifth Column" idea to Emilio Mola Vidal, a nationalist army general during the Spanish Civil War.
While Emilio had columns advancing from the north, south, east and west, it was those WITHIN the city by which he intended to win the city...

Much more, in our spiritual battles, can we see the same thing!
We know, from simply trusting the word, that as the time advances, so does the enemies plan for within our midst, within our very ranks and walls.

The Tongue Which Can Burn The Meat...

James3!
(v1) My bretheren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
(v2) For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. (v3) Behold, we put bits in the horses mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

Controlling our tongue is about controlling our heart, which isn't about control at all. . .
Whom sits on the throne of YOUR heart? ...
Be it You? Be it Christ? . . . Be it belial? (without value)

If we claim to be in Christ, Sit Him on the throne of Your heart!
For Christ was reviled, but reviled not!
Christ was cursed, and cursed not!
Christ had a sharp tongue, a quick wit, but reserved this power for the enemies of The Kingdom.

In the everyday, His voice we must obey.
Edify, build up. . . As David in the psalms,
Save the cursing for the private place...
Live Christ in public!

Father God, Thank You for Your examples. Thank You for The Holy Spirit's Power; We ask the Lord Of ALL that You would take Your rightful place in our hearts this day. Please make us like You.
More and more please give us FRUIT (Gal5:22) meat for repentance...

Push Through, Praise IS Coming!

Job comes before the Psalms...
the Psalms come before the Wisdom...
Then ... CORRECTION.

Romans 12:2-3 . . and Be not conformed to the world: But Be Ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, THAT! ye may PROVE what is GOOD, and ACCEPTABLE, and PERFECT, WILL OF GOD! . . .
→ through GRACE GIVEN UNTO me
→ to every man that is among you:
→ NOT TO THINK OF HIMSELF MORE HIGHLY THAN HE OUGHT
→ Think soberly, According a God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

We ALL have different gifts, different experiences, different callings.
This DOES NOT give us licence to discount & run over the other.
WE ARE TO USE THIS BLESSING, AND Live Out the appropriate level of Grace afforded to us to build & edify the other (12:26)

Now, verse 6
Prophecy → according to proportion of FAITH
Ministry → WAIT on Our Ministering!
* teach → teach!!!
* exhortation → exhort!!!
Giving → Let him do it with simplicity.
ruleth → with diligence.
sheweth mercy → with cheerfulness.

Holy Spirt, please comfort me.
Father forgive me for ignoring Your Call.
For rushing ahead in service, and for dragging my feet in teaching and correction.
Help me Jesus to live like You lived. To teach & exhort (address or communicate [URGING TO DO] empathetically) with swiftness,
but to be slow, methodical and cheerful in all serving.
Please, Make me like You, build me up in the hidden Places!

How do we worship?
When do we worship?
What hinders our worship?

Here we find David, distressed and in trouble.
He is seemingly surrounded (v6), the enemy appear unrestrained and proud (v7).

What is David's response?
"God, laugh at them, bring derision. Hold me back, fight for me and let me see their downfall.
Keep them alive, as a testament to the future generations. Cast them down, this is how You defend me!
Turn their schemes against them, let them continue... but in judgement. Make them crazy Lord
I will continue to sing to You in the heavens! Thank You for always protecting me, for defending me and pouring out Your Mercy!"

Now THIS is worship!!!
Lifting up the situation to God, and praising Him with His own promises IN THE MIDST OF THE BATTLE, in the midst of seeming defeat.
This Man After God's Own Heart has continued to glorify God in the middle of the challenge. In the testing times.
Again, David seems to be hiding from Saul and his wicked men.

Jesus accomplished it all on The Cross.
Lifted high on that tree, God brought healing (again) to the children of Israel!
When we forgive and let God fight our battlers, there is nothing the enemy can do.
Lay down your situations at the foot of the cross,
Raise your eyes to Him Who Has Overcome,
and Watch Him continue to provide!
