Tonight is Census night! Our denomination, International Network of Churches - INC, have encouraged all Aussie churches in our Movement to complete Question 24 in a specific way.

The info collected in the Census helps shape national statistics for the next five years. By answering the religion question accurately, you help ensure that these statistics reflect the true faith landscape of our nation.

When answering Question 24, "What is the person's religion?", underneath "OTHER" write: "International Network of Churches".

Our denomination is recognised by the ABS, under the wide category of Christian, and the narrow category of Pentecostal. So if you're worried that this response will negatively affect the representation of Christians in the Census, this is not the case!

This Sunday is a significant moment in the life of our church as we begin a new season under the senior leadership of Pastors Travis & Grace.

Join us as Pastor Travis shares the vision for the future and the exciting direction God is leading us in!

The day will build to a special moment as we officially reveal our new church name and step into this next chapter together.

After the service, stick around and celebrate with us! We'll have Cassowary Coast Smallgoods food truck with delicious kranskies and pulled beef brisket for purchase, our café will be open with all your favourite drinks, and plenty of time to connect as a church family.

Whether you've been part of the journey for years or you're joining us for the first time, we'd love for you to be with us as we mark this historic day in the life of our church.

To Pastors Paul and Kate, and the team at Empower Church Caloundra: we are so grateful for the past six years. For the investment, encouragement, prayer, and leadership that you have poured into us, we say thank you. It is certainly true that the season ahead would not be possible without the foundation laid through your faithfulness and commitment to the expansion of Christ's Kingdom across the earth. We know the best days are yet to come for you all!

To our church in Innisfail: as Pastor Travis shared a few weeks ago, some of you may not have had much to do with Paul and Kate, but they have impacted your life for good. The way they have loved and discipled your pastors so well has encouraged growth, health, and Christlikeness that has overflowed into your own lives.

It's time for a new season of growth and maturity.

Let's keep believing — Innisfail for Christ.

Last Sunday we celebrated Pastor Travis, Grace and the incredible Innisfail team as they step into a new season as a standalone INC church!

After six years of faithful development, they are moving forward with a vision and passion to see FNQ impacted for Jesus.

We are cheering Innisfail on and are thankful for all God is doing in the North!
