In your prayers, the Holy Family Prayer Group invites you to also pray for the following intention inspired by the Solemnity of The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi) today and the verse from today’s Gospel John 6:54 “Anyone who does eat my flesh and drink my blood has eternal life, and I shall raise him up on the last day.” Let us together pray for the following Prayer Intention:

“Let us pray in gratitude that Jesus Christ gives the gift of himself, real body and blood of himself, in the Eucharist at every mass; and through the Eucharist may we truly believe that Christ will raise us up to eternal life on the last day.”

Pope Leo XIV has released his first encyclical titled, 'Magnifica Humanitas'. 📖⛪

The encyclical reflects on what it means to safeguard our humanity in the age of artificial intelligence. “The ability to manipulate content, images and videos exposes people to biased or misleading perspectives. This problem has both cultural and moral dimensions, since the quality of public communication depends directly on social trust and, in turn, shapes it,” the document reads.

The Catholic Leader has provided a download of 'Magnifica Humanitas', along with comments from Archbishop Shane Mackinlay here 🔗 https://bit.ly/4wWZqqD

In your prayers, the Holy Family Prayer Group invites you to also pray for the following intention inspired by the Solemnity of The Most Holy Trinity today and the verses from this Sunday’s Gospel John 3:16-17 “God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not be lost but may have eternal life. For God sent his Son into the world not to condemn the world, but so that through him the world might be saved.”

Let us together pray for the following Prayer Intention:
“Let us praise God, the Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit for loving us so much that he gave his only Son on the cross for us; and may the grace of the loving Lord Jesus Christ renew the hearts and minds of those who have left the Church, and gently guide them back into the Church especially our youth and young.”

All are welcome to join the Prayer Group at our next Prayer Meeting in the church at 9am on Wednesday, 10 June 2026.
