what an amazing Sunday. baptism of a sister in the morning who shared her heart wrenching story and the amazing grace of Jesus reaching into her life. and then the baptism of 5 young people this young people who bore witness to the mercies and love of our great God.

have seen a great light;

At Christmas, we rejoice that God’s light has come into our world in the person of Jesus Christ.

This year, our vision has been “Shine for Jesus, everywhere, anytime.” I want to take this opportunity to thank our church family for the countless ways you have borne the light of Christ — through loving service, faithful prayer, words of encouragement, generosity, perseverance, and zeal for our Lord. Thank you for pointing one another, and our wider community, to Jesus.

As we celebrate Christmas, my prayer for you and your family is that you would know the light of our holy God — a God who loves you more deeply than we could ever imagine. May your hearts be filled with the joy, peace, and hope that come from knowing Him.

And as we look ahead, may we continue to reflect Christ’s light into our world, shining for Jesus everywhere, anytime.
