360 FAITH: COMBINED CHURCHES YOUNG ADULT EVENT
Saturday 2nd November 19:30 - 21:00

God is doing a new thing in his church and it's starting with young adults (18-29)! There's a new hunger for unity across churches and denominations, and young Christians today are hearing the call to boldly (and wisely) live out their faith in a complex world.

360 Faith is a response to what God is already doing in his church. Young adults want to connect with each other in meaningful ways, but until now there haven't been many ways to do it that are spiritually-impactful, non-awkward and relationally-driven.

At this first-ever 360 Faith event for southern Sydney, local Christians will share short talks about the different paths God has led them on and the practical wisdom they have gained along the way. The night will also feature creative performances to help inspire faith and open our minds to what God is saying to us today.

Christian ministry has unique challenges. For leaders to sustain effective ministry, it is vital to have a personalised self-care plan. This course helps leaders create their plan by exploring a holistic approach to wellbeing and self-care practices.

Update on the Transform Southern Sydney team:
Here at TSS, we are always excited to see God moving in our midst. God has His plans and purposes and we, His People, are His servants.

Sometimes God calls people that we dearly love into a new thing. It shouldn’t be any other way. But relationally, when people move on, there is sadness and grief (with a genuine excitement too.) Our dear friend, Milard Sleiman, let me know late last year about what God had been leading him towards. The following is an excerpt from his letter to me:

"Dear Jamie,
I'm writing to let you know that I have been asked, by the church at East Hills, to go full time, due to the church’s growth and increased need for me to work 5 days. As you know, in ministry, the local church is always my first priority, and I believe that this is what the Lord would have me do. So, I have agreed to go full time, even though I have really enjoyed working for TSS, with you, and our team, doing what I love, which is providing support for our pastors.”

I just want to express our thanks to Milard for his ministry to us all, and wish him all the best as he continues the work of God at East Hills Baptist. Congratulations Mate! Would you join with us in praying that God would continue to use Milard in mighty ways as he goes now into a full time pastoral role. Blessings, Jamie
