We live in a world full of uncertainty, and that is why we need community more than ever. In a rapidly changing, and often hostile world like ours, we all need a place to belong. Our human spirit calls out for connection - to be understood and to be known. At Life Congregational Church it is our desire to be a community where we can help each other find that connection. We believe that God has made this possible because of His great love for each one of us. He has opened up to us the incredible opportunity to know Him, through the life and death of His son Jesus Christ. We would love to invite you to join us on this journey. We don't claim to have all the answers or be able to give you the ideal life - but we do know the one who can, Jesus. After all, it was He who said "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me ." (From the book of John chapter 14, verse 6, in the Bible)

We are called to worship God and at Life Congregational Church, we start every service this way. It’s a time to take our eyes off of ourselves and look to God with thankfulness ❤️

This is often the only time in the week where people collectively come together and sing to God - it is special! So join us at 10am this Sunday and be part of it 🙏🏻

Sunday's message looked at Herod, who believed gossip and the ideas around him - convincing himself that John the Baptist had risen from the dead. It's a stark example of how we find "truth" through public opinion, social media, celebrities, friends and family instead of through God.

As Christians, we need to start with the Bible. What does God's word say about an issue we are facing? What does His word say about our situation? The Bible is where we find God's truth, teaching, and wisdom. Set yourself up with a plan to read the Bible daily and live a life guided by His word.
