We are SO excited for week 2 of our campaign, all about our vision ‘A Church Purposed for Others’ 😍

This week is all about considering how we can stir up one another towards love and good deeds - to be OTHERS oriented 👯‍♀️

We encourage you to really pray about and think about one person you can intentionally be building up, encouraging and helping them to grow in their next steps!

We grow the most when we help others grow. 🌻

Let us know who that person is, so we can be praying for them too!

HAPPY MONDAY CHURCH 😍

How good was it to gather and hear the vision of our church to be a church purposed for others?!

We also had our first 'First Step' session of the year, after the service, where we had 21 guests attend!!!

This session was all about people taking a step to make C3 SYD their home, they learnt about who we are as a church, what we are all about and what steps they can take to become more integrated within our church, and grow as individuals in Christ.

We love our wonderful Next Step Overseers, Helen & Garry Reardon, who did such a great job in leading this session! 🤩

Make sure to continue your incredible warmness towards these guys, they are all so beautiful and have spoken about how welcomed they feel into our community - great job, church 😍😍

Hey church! Hope you're having a great week thus far 😍

This Sunday we are kicking off our Vision Month campaign: 'A Church Purposed for Others'

This campaign and the vision is all centred around discipleship. 2022 was all about us taking our own next steps, which we will of course continue to do. In 2023, we are looking to help OTHERS take their next step, after all, we grow the most when we help others grow.

Hebrews 10:24-25 "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near."

We encourage you to think about a person or group of people around you, who you can intentionally be discipling throughout this year. 🤔

February is going to be a great month.❤️

Happy Monday, church! How great was it to hear some top tips around finances from one of our wonderful team members, John, on Sunday?! 💵

Below are just a few of the tips that he shared with us:

- Firstly, remember where our talents and gifts came from. Give our first fruits (10%) back to God and use the wisdom He has given us, to steward the remaining 90%

- PRAY

- Spend less than you earn

- After tithing, save 10%

- Include your children, talk to them about finances & being to teach them about budgeting (recommended app: Spriggy)

- Recommended book: 'The Richest Man in Babylon' by George S. Clason

We want to celebrate the two beautiful girls who bravely made the decision to get baptised! It was such a special moment!

We are "confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 1.6)
