This Sunday Ps. Dee Gistau shared a message titled “Unyoked”. She explained the long journey of a rabbi from childhood, including memorising the first 5 books of the bible, training to converse about God at length, and mimicking a senior rabbi in the practice of life until the age of 30.

In our current day, we can dedicate our lives to many pursuits, the accumulation of wealth, building our own following, or even preserving family culture - but these are the yoke’s of the world, and not of our Rabbi, Jesus Christ.

John 13:34-35 says that everyone will know we are Jesus’ disciples when we love another, in the way Jesus loved - sacrificially and unconditionally. Be encouraged to dedicate all of your life to Him, and witness the love of your divine teacher make a way.

This Sunday guest preacher Tim Hall spoke on the Day of Pentecost.

In Acts 2, God poured out His Holy Spirit, and after supernatural events three thousand people were saved, birthing the church of Jesus Christ. In Acts 3, by the power of the Holy Spirit, Peter prays for a crippled beggar who is instantly healed, and leaps in the temple courts praising God.

It’s not enough to know of Jesus - we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit to overcome the strongholds of this world, and operate spiritually beyond the natural to see many from the world brought back to Him.

When people taste and see His love, they will never be the same. Be encouraged and share with faith the power of Jesus wherever God has placed you.
