It’s that time of the year again, a night of prayer, worship, and a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit awaits.

Join us for our Annual Pentecost Vigil on 23 May. Beginning at 8:00 PM, we invite you to enter into a time of silent Adoration and personal encounter with God, a sacred moment to rest, reflect, and open your heart to His presence.

Then from 11:00 PM onwards, we will begin our Pentecost program filled with praise, worship, reflection, fellowship, and prayer as we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit.

Come and experience a night of renewal, grace, and community. Everyone is welcome.

This weekend we mark Good Shepherd Sunday, or World Day of Prayer for Vocations. Pope Leo XIV says that a vocation is a gift that unfolds like a path, ‘much like life itself'. It’s a gift that he says 'must not only be protected but also nourished by a daily relationship with God in order to grow and bear fruit … To grow in one’s vocation means being with Jesus, allowing the Holy Spirit to act in our hearts and in the circumstances of life, and reinterpreting everything in light of this gift.'

Across our parishes this weekend you may meet some of the young men who are studying for the priesthood in our Archdiocese. Please pray for them as they discern their vocation, and pray for all young people—that they may encounter the love of Jesus the Good Shepherd in their lives and respond wholeheartedly with a 'yes!' 🙏

Lest we forget.

On Anzac Day we remember the sacrifice of those who served. And we ask God for his healing peace.

‘Peace, peace to those far away and those who are near, and I shall heal them,’ says the Lord. (Isaiah 57:19)

Our Lenten Pilgrimage to the Ta’ Pinu Shrine was, once again, a grace filled journey of faith and community.

Due to the slippery conditions on the hill, we experienced something new this year, the Stations of the Cross were prayerfully held inside the Church. Though different from our usual practice, it proved to be no less meaningful. In fact, it became a deeply reflective and intimate procession, drawing us closer to the suffering and love of Christ as one community of believers.

This was followed by the celebration of the Holy Mass, beautifully presided over by Fr Laurence Cortez, grounding our pilgrimage in the Eucharist, the source and summit of our faith.

Our journey concluded with a traditional and bountiful fellowship, a joyful expression of our shared discipleship, where stories, laughter, and gratitude were abundantly shared.

In all, what could have been seen as a change of plans became an invitation to encounter God in a new way, reminding us that every step of the journey, whether uphill or within sacred walls, leads us closer to Him.
