πŸ•Œ *Qurban-Meat Community Share Arrangements*

*For those who wish to contribute their Qurban meat to share with the community (not with the intention of SADAQAH) for the Eid-ul-Adha Celebration at Hobart Mosque*, we kindly request that the meat be prepared in curry pieces and brought to the Mosque on Saturday, 6th June afternoon/evening.

Alternatively, if you are arranging your Qurban through the Halal Butcher Shops in Hobart, you may leave your community share portion with them, and we will collect the meat from the shops, InshaAllah.

*Both Tasmanian Prime Meats and Moonah Meats and Groceries are happy to keep the Qurban-Meat contributions for the Mosque events.*

Eid-ul-Adha Announcement

Please be informed that Hobart Mosque respects and welcomes community members who celebrate Eid-ul-Adha based on local moonsighting in Australia, as well as those who follow the Saudi announcement.

Details for both arrangements are provided below.

*According to Moonsighting Australia*, the crescent moon for the month of Dhul-Hijjah was sighted tonight in Queensland, Alhamdulillah. Therefore, tomorrow, 19th May, will be the 1st day of Dhul-Hijjah, and *Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on Thursday, 28th May*, inshaAllah.

*For those following the Saudi announcement, the Australian Fatwa Council* has advised that today, 18th May, is the 1st day of Dhul-Hijjah, and *Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday, 27th May*, inshaAllah.

We sincerely urge all community members to respect the valid differences of scholarly opinions regarding the commencement of Dhul-Hijjah in Australia.

May Allah grant us unity, accept our ibadah, and bless us throughout the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah.

Hobart Madrassah Term Two

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Please be informed that the Term 2 of the Hobart Madrassah will commence from tomorrow, for every Saturday at the Hobart Mosque from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM inshaAllah.

We kindly request everyone to avoid parking in the top carpark during madrassah hours to help ensure smooth access and safety for all students and families.

If you would like to register your child for the madrassah, please come to the mosque at 1:00 PM. A member of the madrassah team will be available to assist and guide you through the registration process, inshaAllah.
