What. A. Week.

Team TAS had another epic week at BNCarnival.
The sport:

Netball - our ladies had an amazing week making the grand final. Unfortunately SA were too strong and grabbed the win.
Highlights? The way the girls continually worked hard and encouraged each other - being flexible and changing positions to make the team work.
Shout out to & for making all-stars.
“Runners Up 2024”

Mens B - our lads had a cracker week also making the grandy. They fell agonisingly short against VIC losing by 3.
Highlight? Big man Tom hitting 8 3’s in a game - unreal!
Shout out to Tom for being GF MVP, and & for making All-stars
“Runners Up 2024”

Under 18’s - like last year, the boys came in strong and showed their versatility and skill on the court. The boys had a great week making the semi finals. They were unable to beat a sharp shooting NSW.
Highlight? This has to be coach Ronnie! What a privilege to have The Ronnie Riggs along in the squad - it was great to see him coaching.
“3/4th in the comp”

Women’s A - with a team made up of Tasmanians who live in Tasmania, Tasmanians who live in Victoria, and Victorians who … you guessed it, live in Victoria, it took a little to get going this week. The girls were certainly excited to have some tougher teams come this year with the return of WA & SA to A grade.
Highlight? A tough battle against WA with Tassie coming on top for a 3 point win. The crowd and atmosphere was amazing.
Shout out to for making all stars!

Mens A - special mention to as he represented Tas by playing for the SA mens A grade team. They won their grandy and Jordan won some awards too! 👏🏾👏🏾

The bigger highlights are always off court for us and included:
+the return of “The Pushovers”
+sleepcam
+dinner with the VIC crew
+a 16th birthday pancake party on the rooftop
+team dinner and a surprise engagement party
+theme night to celebrate the Jack Jumpers and eat Mexican with our mates from NSW
+16th birthday cupcakes at the stadium
+the many moments inbetween with our squad!

We love our squad and appreciate our staff who make it a great week! 💚💛❤️

It’s May and a significant time for the Salvos where we collect much needed funds for those in our community. You might see the Salvos at your local supermarket or shopping centre, at the airport or perhaps at Bunnings flipping a snag.
We also have a link to our City Youth online Door knock Appeal where we hope to raise at least $1000 towards our churches goal. Check out the link below to sponsor us!

Money raised in the past has gone towards some of the below:
+Sunday night community dinner (3 cause free meal for anyone in need)
+washing machine and dryer so those without facilities to have somewhere to wash their gear
+swags
+toiletries and linen
+food packs

Everybody! We have Youth Tomorrow Night!!!🥳

Here’s some Details that you need to know:
- Friday Feb 23, 7-9pm
We’re going to…SWISHERR!!!
DONT BE LATE! We need to be leaving the hall for swishers at 7:15pm!
If people are going to be late, let Josh know!
- $5 as usual!
- Meeting in the Youth Room!
- Bring a Water bottle and Shoes and clothes to run around in!
- Snacks included!
- If people need a lift home, party bus is rolling 🚌 let us know ahead of time!

Guys! You won’t believe it but…
YOUTH IS OFFICIALLY BACK THIS FRIDAY!! 🎉

We are kicking off the year with Tribal Wars - Back to School Edition!
So make sure to bring school uniform (if you have it…and if it still fits 😬), because we having a fun night full of the best parts of school!

We will be starting from 6:30pm and going to 9pm!
It’s going to be $5 also!

We’d love to see you there! And why not bring a friend too?!
