From the very beginning of creation, God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone.” We were created for more than survival—we were created for community and purpose.

In a world that’s more connected than ever, so many people are feeling deeply lonely. But God’s answer has always been relationship: with Him and with one another.

Tonight (6:30pm) in our recovery group we’re stepping into a conversation that many of us tend to avoid — grief and loss in recovery.

Recovery isn’t just about stopping harmful patterns; it’s also about learning to sit with what has been lost. Lost time, broken relationships, missed opportunities, and sometimes even the version of ourselves we thought we’d be.

Grief is not a setback in recovery — it’s part of the healing. When we allow ourselves to acknowledge loss, we create space for honesty, healing, and hope.

We’ll be exploring this through the lens of the 12 Steps (Celebrate Recovery), and what it means to bring our grief into the light rather than carry it alone.
