We now have 19 uploaded teaching brochures on the website, with a ‘Witnessing for Jesus’ being edited as we speak, which will make 20 so far. These documents range from foundational to covering more controversial topics, but all make good reading and good for studies or a discussion group. Here's some examples:

We have been slowly editing and updating our teaching brochures on the new TCM Website and now have 17 of around 30 completed and uploaded. Covering a wide range of Christian topics that are always interesting and sometimes challenging, check them if interested and let us know what you think. There are still a few to go before we can move on to some podcasts and get back into regular blogging, but there are also over 50 blogs from Kate and myself uploaded to the new website as well as videos and other content. So stay tuned. We'll be back on track shortly with regular blogs, posts and updates, and hopefully some reels. Here's a few pics from some of the covers.

Facebook tells me I'm supposed to label images created with AI? Having recently discovered ChatGPT and CoPilot I'm new to AI, but they have transformed our brochures and Foundations course, and the new TCM Website, and all these images are generated with AI. Hope that labels them sufficient for FB. You'll find them all in the Teaching section at: www.tcministries.org.au

Hi Everyone. Seems like today is the day we make the switch from Pathway Church (PC) to TC Ministries (TCM) on Facebook! It's been a bit compilated, but It should all switch over seamlessly, with no lost posts or followers, assuming I have done it all correctly. If you look for the old Pathway Church website it will redirect you to www.tcministries.org.au, where all the old content now resides - rebranded, updated, touched up with ChatGPT in places, and transferred. It has been a daunting task but we are very happy with the end result.

We've launched the new TC Ministries website and will be retiring the Pathway Church one once we have rebadged all the teaching material and uploaded it to the new site. Check it out. It is built on a similar GoDaddy template with updates and changes that were needed anyway. Already uploaded are a few teaching brochures with new design with many more to follow, all past blogs, videos and more have already been rebadged. Shortly this FB page with be renamed as well. All past posts have already been edited to remove Pathway Church information, primarily retaining a focus on our blogs, teaching and more.

These latest pics on FB and the new teaching booklets are a taste of what ChatGPT and AI can create in minutes that used to take me forever with Publisher. It's a new digital world people, and we now have tools to promote the kingdom and our Christian faith easier and more efficiently than ever before.

Combined Churches of Hervey. . .
BLESSING OF THE FLEET 2026
Friday night was the annual blessing of the Fleet ceremony where all boats come into the harbours for a prayer of blessing at the beginning of the whale watching season - fishing, tourism, recreation, transport, rescue and service. There we around 14 vessels in all lined up to enter the harbour and come alongside where the crowd was gathered and a platform/speaker was setup for each pastor to get up and pray the prayer of blessing. Each vessel receives a certificate, which many put up in their boats, and they value the support of the Christian Ministers who come together to do this every year. It was a great evening, and lots of fun things for families to do with stalls setup up around the harbour Jetty. David Lee MP opened the proceedings, and then we prayed over each boat - their captains, crew and passengers - for fair weather, safety at sea and a prosperous season. It went from daylight to dark as the ceremony proceeded. God bless 'em all!
A great testimony to the unity of the ministers and pastors in Hervey Bay, and our great relationship with Council, who put this on each year.

With the end of financial year our rebranding from Pathway Church to TC Ministries continues apace. The new TCM Website is almost complete with most of the content updated and moved across prior to launching, and much new material to upload.

It will no longer be a church site with our move to New Life Church at Easter, but more a teaching and spiritual aspirational one with blogs, reels and commentary coming that will touch on many topics of relevance from a Christian and Biblical perspective, with plenty of downloadable content for individual and local church use.

This page will change shortly to TC Ministries going forward with some historical content deleted as no longer relevant, but much will remain. unchanged. Not long now …

ANZAC DAY 2026 Hervey Bay
Despite the rain sheeting down like there was no tomorrow for a couple of hours, it was a great morning I would not have missed for anything. Col Missingham and I were there to lay a wreath on behalf of the local Ministers Association. As an Association we have a wonderful relationship with the RSL going back many years, who donate invaluable time and effort, expertise and financial support to a lot of local charities and community groups, including the annual Carols evening in December, which the Association runs the program for. They assist us with much of the logistics that has made the Carols night so popular over the years, making it currently the largest outdoor event on the Fraser Coast Council Calendar. Council also generously sponsor the event.

However we were there to honour the bravery and sacrifice of our defence personnel, past and present - lest we forget - and in that regard it was both moving and memorable.

Since then the flu, or whatever wog I caught from somebody, and was just about getting over, came back in full force after the wet morning. Either that, or the vaccines we had the week before were doing their job! Being of a generous disposition I seem to have inadvertently shared it with Kate as well, so we’ve had a week of feeling pretty miserable. Kate more than me as I was getting over it but she just came down with in after the weekend and has spent most of this past week in bed. Thus the late posting!

IMPORTANT NEWS - to our FB friends and supporters.
Kate and I have decided that we need to lay aside the vision for Pathway Church in favour of becoming a part of an established church in Hervey Bay – New Life Christian Church.

We've now been in Hervey Bay for two years. Over this period we’ve found great acceptance with the local Minister’s Association, and was recently asked to serve in the position of treasurer. We have found friendship and support with this amazing group of local pastors who meet regularly as a group, and who pray for and support one another in the most exceptional way I have experienced in over 30 years of pastoral ministry. They are a practical and very effective witness to the local community of how churches can be united in a genuine way without compromising individual identities.

Last year I was also invited, quite unexpectedly, to join the board of a local Christian School, which I excepted. These roles have become quite time consuming in and of themselves, but I know they are part of God’s plan for bringing us to Hervey Bay in the first place.

For some time we've been considering if there was a local church we could become part of, with a vision we could connect with, and a leader we could respect and serve. Turns out there is.

This is not a decision taken lightly, with much prayer and deliberation going into arriving at this point. We are of the view that Col Missingham, senior pastor at New Life Church, is someone God has uniquely called to Hervey Bay for a purpose that we feel God is asking us to be part of.

We will be making some significant changes to the website and our page, and the name 'Pathway Church' will become 'Pathway Ministries' in the new 2026 financial year (1st July 2026) to more accurately reflect the refocusing of our vision going forward. We are not leaving the ministry, just becoming part of an existing church, refocusing our time and efforts on this new direction God has opened up for us.
