Patricia “Patty” Ann RATUMAIYALE, late of Hervey Bay, Queensland.
Walked home with Jesus, stepping beyond the veil into Glory on Thursday,
20th August 2026. Patsy was a devoted, faithful and loving Mother to Marysarah
and Aunty Pat to Mark, Angela and Belinda and their respective families.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a celebration of Patty’s life and faith, to be held at Ross Funerals Hervey Bay, 18 Nikenbah Dundworan Road on
Thursday, 3rd September 2026 commencing at 10am.

Following the service relatives and friends are invited to
Bayside Christian Church, 18 Neils Street, Pialba for some light refreshments.

'Her children arise up and call her blessed' (Proverbs 31:28).
A life lived in grace, love, kindness and generosity now residing in
Eternity with her Saviour, Jesus Christ.

On Sunday, we had the opportunity to celebrate Val and the incredible contribution she has made to our Bayside family over the years. 💛

For so long, Val has faithfully led our Morning Tea team, organising each week to make sure there was always something to enjoy and a space for people to connect after service. We are so grateful for the time, care and love she has poured into this ministry.

Now, Val is handing the baton over to Shirley, who brings some experience of her own, having previously run Morning Tea at a church in England! 🇬🇧☕️

A huge thank you to Val for all she has given over the years.
We’re excited to see Shirley step into this role, so when you see her around church, be sure to say hello and make her feel welcome! 🥰

POV: The power went out in our suburb… so this is some of the only footage we have of Sunday’s mornings message. 😅⚡

Sometimes things don’t go to plan! A power outage across the region meant we lost our recordings, but thankfully it didn’t stop what God was doing.

A huge thank you to Murray Newman for bringing such an encouraging and faith-filled message. While we may have missed being able to record it all to share, we’re grateful everyone in the room got to experience it firsthand. 🙌🏼

✨ Exciting days ahead for Bayside Kids! ✨

We’re so excited to introduce a fresh new look and season for our Bayside Kids ministry! 🎉

A huge thank you to Loretta for faithfully leading Bayside Kids and pouring so much love, time and energy into creating a place where children can connect, build friendships and discover Jesus. We’re so grateful for the foundation that has been built.

We’re also excited to welcome Grace Albury as she steps into leading Bayside Kids! Grace is currently studying to become a teacher, has completed a Diploma of Ministry, and has a real heart for seeing children grow in faith, confidence and connection.

Make sure you check out the refreshed look of Bayside Kids and Bayside Kids Club AND keep an eye out for their new shirts if you are looking for a kids leader.

⛪ Bayside Kids (Sunday Church)
Running every Sunday during our services for children aged 3 years through to primary school.

🌟 Bayside Kids Club
A fun space for primary-aged kids (Grade 2–6) to connect, build friendships and grow together. Kids Club is currently running fortnightly throughout the winter season on Friday afternoons.

We can’t wait to see all that God continues to do through Bayside Kids! ✨
