Earlier this year, during the extreme weather episodes, our beloved Jacaranda tree sustained damage. As a result of this damage if was deemed structurally unsound and needed to be removed completely for the safety of the buildings, neighbours and community who visit the church. The committee was very fortunate that the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd proudly provided us with the funding to have the Jacaranda tree removed. The Hemmant Church Restoration Committee Inc would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd and their Grants team, we are very appreciated of the assistance you have provide us, when we needed. Thank you!
