This year, Our Lady of Lebanon will be hosting all the Fersen children from all the parishes across the Eparchy, as we pray, learn, play and celebrate our mission of Fersen. ๐Ÿ’™

We are blessed to welcome His Excellency, Bishop Antonie-Charbel Tarabay who will celebrate Holy Mass with us. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Last Sunday, our Family Committee and Fersen Committee came together for a wonderful Family Fun Day filled with exciting rides, delicious food, lots of laughter and plenty of fun! ๐Ÿฟ๐ŸŽ‰

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so special. We loved seeing our Fersen families enjoying the day together! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿค

Today, our Fersen children learned about the Feast of the Assumption and created beautiful crafts to celebrate Mary and her โ€œyesโ€ to God. ๐Ÿค

May today be a beautiful reminder of Maryโ€™s complete โ€œyesโ€ to God. Mary said yes to God, not just at the Annunciation, but throughout her whole life. She trusted Him, followed His will, and remained faithful even when she didnโ€™t understand everything He was asking of her. By Godโ€™s grace, she was preserved from sin and remained sinless, giving her whole life to Him.

May we learn from Mary who allowed God to work in her so completely that He was able to make her holy in a unique way. Her life shows us what it can look like to truly surrender ourselves to God. May we too trust Him with our lives and allow Him to work in us, sanctify us, and bring us closer to Him.

In honour of the late Ghadi Nakhoul, Our Lady of Lebanon Co-Cathedral Parish and Urban Property Group are pleased to introduce the Annual Ghadi Nakhoul Leadership & Evangelisation Award.

This award celebrates the example of a young Maronite who lives their faith and demonstrates leadership and commitment to Christ through their work, service, and daily life.

Feast of Saint Charbel Makhlouf ๐Ÿค

Today we honor Saint Charbel, who dedicated his life to serving God through deep silence, intense prayer, and absolute surrender. Choosing the hidden life of a hermit in Lebanon, his complete devotion to the Holy Eucharist and the Blessed Virgin Mary reminds us that true holiness is found in quiet communion with God and humble sacrifice.

Today, we especially pray for all those in need of physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. May Saint Charbel intercede for them, bringing Godโ€™s supernatural grace, comfort, and miraculous strength into their lives and struggles.

A huge thank you to all the Fersen children and parents who came along and supported the 2027 MOM Philippines Mission. Your generosity and support mean so much, and weโ€™re incredibly grateful to everyone who made the day such a success. ๐Ÿ’™

During the day, the Fersen children wrote personalised cards for the children in the Philippines, sharing messages of love, encouragement, and prayers. We wrapped up the holiday special with lots of fun games and smiles all around! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿค

OLOL Fersen Al Adra and Maronites on Mission will be hosting a โ€˜Fersen School Holiday Specialโ€™

When: Saturday 11th of July
Time: 1pm-3pm
Where: OLOL YOUTH CENTRE
Entry by donation to raise funds for the 2027 MOM Philippines Mission

Snacks and drinks will be provided for the kids

This day will be a special holiday day care/Fersen lesson to make some cards and notes for the kids in Philippines and also games and fun novelty activities to be played and enjoy.

Entry will be by donation and all donations go towards the 2027 Phillipines Mission. With only approximately $1 being able to feed a family in Philippines for one week.
