Salt Church will be back in Binalong this week at 4pm at the Anglican church.

This week, we will be starting a new series that looks at the book of Philemon.

As an introduction this week, we will be looking at how the discussion of slaves and slavery can prompt our concern and how we are to understand the book of Philemon.

Salt Church will be hosting church services on the first Sunday of the Month in Binalong @ 4pm as well as our usual gathering in Murrumburrah-Harden also at 4pm at the Harden Anglican Parish Hall.

We declare Christ's death, resurrection and return every day, but as we head towards the days that the church sets aside to remember Christ's death and resurrection - we are starting a new sermon series - "It's a Miracle!"
This will be a series on miracles in The Bible, what they tell us, how we should think of them and what importance they have for our lives.
This week we are starting with the first miracle The Bible tells us about - we are starting right at the beginning in Genesis 1:1 -
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

Welcome to 2026!
Got a new year resolution?
Thinking about turning over a new page for 2026?
As Salt Church kicks off the new year, we are looking at wisdom - and couldn't we all use a big more wisdom in our lives.
As we gather this week we start a new series looking at the Book of Proverbs.
Not a bad place for us to start as we contemplate the year ahead.
Join us at 4pm at the Anglican Hall, Albury St, Harden.

In the lead up to , Salt Church is looking at readiness, preparation and anticipation.
At Christmas, people all over the world remember the birth of The Messiah, Jesus Christ, in Bethlehem approximately 2000 years ago. This was the fulfilment of a promise God had made to the world for thousands of years. Ever since Adam and Eve fell into sin, God had promised of one who would come and crush the head of the serpent.
But who came to see Jesus at His birth?
Despite thousands of years of promise and recommitting to the world of His promise to send The Messiah, who came to see and celebrate The Messiah's birth?
This week we look at the Magi - the 'wise men' - who travelled to see Jesus. Why did they come? How did they know? How many of them were there? When did they come? And what can we learn from their readiness to come to see The Messiah and how can we adopt a similar readiness and preparedness?

When looking at The Bible, we can be tempted to wonder about the significance of the Old Testament. As people living after the birth, death and resurrection of Christ, what purpose does the Old Testament have today?
Today at Salt, we'll be having a look at this question. We'll be looking at some of the history and reasons as to why this has happened as well as the importance of the Old Testament, its significance and what we have lost by not placing an importance on getting into the Old Testament.
Join us at Salt Church @ St Paul's Anglican hall - Albury Street Harden - 4pm.

A reminder that this weekend the Murrumburrah-Harden Anglican parish will be celebrating 150 years of St Paul's Anglican church.
With activities across the weekend, this will be a great time to join in and celebrate this commemoration.

This week, the world was shaken with the death of Iryna Zarutska, a US school shooting and an assassin murdering Charlie Kirk.
With such shocking events unfolding before us, what are we to do? How do we reconcile such terrible events unfolding just before our eyes?
With such horrible events, what should our response be?
And where do we find hope in events that tempt us to such despair?
Through everything, God is speaking and offers hope for us all.

This week we look at Job 19 and Hebrews 11 and find comfort in the hope that we have in our Lord and Saviour.

While none of our Salt community personally knew Charlie Kirk, his assassination in the US this week has left a number our church family hurting. The news of a young, 31 year old Disciple of Jesus, husband and father of two young children being so brutally murdered can barely be understood.

This week, we will pause our study in the final book of the New Testament and take a moment at this time to reflect and be bold to seek God, ask questions and find answers in His Word that He has given to us.

God’s Word is Good News. It is hope for the hopeless. And this week we will seek to be reminded of that hope and be comforted by the hope which is the blessed hope of the Lord Jesus Christ. A sure hope and a sure foundation on which we can stand firm.
