This Sunday we have a special guest speaker - Dr. Daniel Shayesteh - founder of Exodus from Darkness.

Born in Northern Iran, Daniel was once a devoted Muslim, a teacher of Islamic philosophy, and a key political leader during the Iranian Islamic Fundamentalist Revolution. Following a dramatic escape and conversion, Daniel has dedicated his life to sharing the gospel with Muslims and equipping Christians to understand and lovingly engage with people of other beliefs.

Bring a friend and come be encouraged and equipped as Daniel shares with us!

the ear fasts when it stops listening to idle talk and gossip;

the tongue fasts when it refrains from slandering, grumbling, and unnecessary talk, and holds silence in high esteem;

the hand fasts when it leaves useless things alone;

but best of all is when the soul itself abstains from all imperfections.” Bernard of Clairvaux.

Prayer: “Jesus, help me fast from food, media, negativity, speed and comfort. Teach me to see people the way you see people: harassed and helpless, like sheep who have no shepherd caring for them.”
