St Paul's Lutheran Church Hahndorf was pleased to host the St Nicholas Comes To Hahndorf event, focussing on the gift of giving, which is consistent with the St Nicholas story.

Pastor Haydn Lush from Mount Barker Uniting Church presented a message to the children.

We remember the idea that everyone—no matter how young—can make a difference. Giving doesn’t have to mean buying presents. It can be sharing what we have, helping someone who needs support, being kind, or doing something thoughtful without expecting anything back.

The spirit of giving is really about noticing others and choosing to make the world a little better for them.

And the amazing thing is: when you give, you also feel good inside. Kindness spreads, and every person can start that ripple!

New Pastor accepts call to serve at St Paul's:
The congregation are pleased to announce that Pastor Peter Heintze will join them early next year to assist in leading their community ministry program and sharing the good news of the Gospel.

It was saying good-bye today to the Hakuna Matata Children's Choir after two weeks of accommodation at our facility and time in Hahndorf sharing with St Michael's Lutheran Church the choir's wonderful gifts of ministry in song and dance. What a joyful experience to have been able to share time with these visitors from Kenya!
