Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, baked, organised, donated prizes and supported our Kindies in the Jungle fundraising lunch.

With a capacity hall, delicious food, wonderful fellowship, a fantastic trading table and raffles, and inspiring presentations from Coral Gallasch and Erin Kerber, the afternoon was a tremendous success.

A special thank you to Pastor Peter Heintze for expertly serving as MC and helping make the event so enjoyable.

Together, we raised over $5,000 to support remote kindergartens in Papua New Guinea—a remarkable result that will help provide children with opportunities for learning, care and hope.

This was truly a community effort, and every person who contributed has helped make a lasting difference.

St Paul's Lutheran Church Hahndorf was pleased to host the St Nicholas Comes To Hahndorf event, focussing on the gift of giving, which is consistent with the St Nicholas story.

Pastor Haydn Lush from Mount Barker Uniting Church presented a message to the children.

We remember the idea that everyone—no matter how young—can make a difference. Giving doesn’t have to mean buying presents. It can be sharing what we have, helping someone who needs support, being kind, or doing something thoughtful without expecting anything back.

The spirit of giving is really about noticing others and choosing to make the world a little better for them.

And the amazing thing is: when you give, you also feel good inside. Kindness spreads, and every person can start that ripple!
