Welcome ladies of All Ages (and Teenage Daughters) to our Homemaker Swap on Saturday 6th June 2026.

Here's how it works:

Bring along 5 of the same items on the day. You must have either made it, baked it, grown it or sewn it. Anything from your favourite chocolate brownies or scones, to cute little crocheted book marks or handmade cards. Perhaps you have some excess produce in your garden or bunches of herbs - simply package up 5 of the same items and bring them along to our Homemaker Swap. Let your creativity shine! Pottery, Painting, Plants, Tote Bags, Tasty Treats, Chutney's & Jams - as long as you have 5 of the same items to bring (*some variation is fine eg: hand made cards may all be different but all are cards).

Items are placed on the table for perusal prior to swap. Swap takes place, in a guided format. Each person who brings 5 items on the day will go home with 5 different items. Morning Tea and time to fellowship is enjoyed after the swap is complete. PLEASE NOTE: Labels and Ingredients must be displayed on all food items, hand-written is fine.

If you have, or care for, children from birth to aged 4, and are looking for something to do to connect with other like minded people, then why not come along to mainly music on Friday at the Gympie Wesleyan Methodist Church.

Each Friday at 10,00am children and their carers enjoy half an hour of singing, action songs, rhymes, and a whole lot of fun followed by morning tea and play time. Cost is $3 per child or $5 per family.

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is just around the corner, and we’re excited to invite you all to be part of this special event supporting Cancer Council Australia. Join us on Monday 18th May 2026 from 9.00am to 12 noon for a warm and welcoming morning filled with tea, coffee and delicious homemade treats, all while raising vital funds for cancer research, prevention, and support services. It is a wonderful opportunity to connect, share and make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. Bring family, friends and neighbours and as we come together for a cause that touches so many.
