This Sunday, Pastor Russell continued our journey through James, speaking from James 1:13–15. He explored how temptation is used by the Devil to draw us away from God, while also reminding us that these verses warn us about the danger of following our own sinful desires.

The message encouraged us to turn from our deceitful nature, look to Jesus, and share the incredible, Good News of His salvation with those around us.

This Sunday at Gympie Baptist Church we spent time reflecting on James 1:9-12 and the reminder that our true worth is found in Christ, not in our circumstances or status. We were encouraged to persevere through trials, knowing that God is using them to grow our faith and shape our character.

The Elders at Gympie Baptist are delighted to announce the appointment of Russell Kernick to the position of Pastor of Gympie Baptist Church.
We look forward to seeing the way God will continue to work through him in this new role.

Last Sunday, Pastor Russell shared from James 1:5–8 about the importance of wisdom; what it is, why we need to ask God for it, and what happens when we reject it.

It was a timely reminder that God generously gives wisdom to those who seek Him in faith.

ACRE exists to help support and champion Christian RI in Queensland state schools so that every child may have the opportunity to question, explore and discover the Christian faith.

Join us as we open the Bible together and discover how we are counted and declared right before God due to a righteousness that is not our own but granted to us and received by faith alone.

Fusion and Combined Youth are on tomorrow!
For Primary aged children Fusion starts at 4pm where we will be having a crafternoon with a focus on making something special for Mum, Nanna, Grandma, Aunty or other special lady!
For the teens our Combined Youth for High School aged kids starts at 6:30 for a Scavenger Hunt.

Last Sunday was a truly special time together as we celebrated three baptisms, a powerful reminder of God’s goodness and faithfulness.

Pastor Russell shared a message about God’s incredible gift of grace, freely given and simply received by faith.
