It’s that time of year again to help the less fortunate. St Vincent de Paul are looking for donations such as sleeping bags, blankets, grocery items or cash donations. If you can assist please clearly label the items as “FOR FAMILY ASSISTANCE” and deliver them to St Vincent de Paul in Mellor Street (opposite the Civic Centre) on

St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal is seeking donations to help with the less fortunate this winter. If you are able to assist with donations of sleeping bags, blankets, grocery items or cash donations would be greatly appreciated. You can deliver the donations to the Family Assistance Office in Mellor Street opposite the Civic Centre on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays between 12:00pm and 3:00pm.

We pray for the power to be gentle; the strength to be forgiving;
the patience to be understanding; and the endurance to accept the consequences of holding on to what we believe to be right.
May we put our trust in the power of good to overcome evil and the power of love to overcome hatred.
We pray for the vision to see and the faith to believe in a world emancipated from violence, a new world where fear shall no longer lead men or women to commit injustice, nor selfishness make them bring suffering to others.
