Join us Friday evening at 7:30pm for our First Friday Mass of Mercy, followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and confession until 10:00pm.

End your week in the presence of the Lord.

A reminder there will be no morning Mass on Friday.

The Portico Women's group will be on again this coming Wednesday 2nd September. 7-9pm. Join us for praise & worship, guided adoration and confession. Drinks and nibbles to follow.

The Wonderful World of Reason is a Christian play about a girl entering the crazy world called the 'World of Reason' where we see a range of wild and wacky characters, throughout the journey we learn about some of the different arguments in Christian apologetics. It's fun and funny and a non-for-profit show with all money going to a Catholic organisation - Youth Ministry Team. This play is suitable for children over 16.

On Saturday 15 August we celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

This is one of only two Holy Days of Obligation (outside of Sundays) in Australia.

We have put on two additional Masses so that parishioners have an opportunity to fulfil the obligation prior to the Saturday vigil Mass.

Friday 14 August - Solemn Mass at 6:30pm
Saturday 15 August - 9:15am & 12:00pm

“Never see a need without doing something about it.”

Today we celebrate Australia’s first Saint, St Mary MacKillop, a woman who lived these words with courage, despite persecution. Her deep trust in God led her to go where she was needed, serve those often forgotten, and persevere even when the road was difficult.

May her example remind us that holiness often begins simply: seeing the need in front of us, and choosing to act.
