We are delighted that our Reverend Wendy Anderson will be honoured as Gundagai's Citizen of the Year this Australia day. She has worked tirelessly, touched many lives and helped more people than we can count.

And to make it even mores special, her son Zak will be alongside her being recognised as Gundagai's Young Citizen of the year. Zak has a big heart just like his mother and has worked quietly behind the scenes for years helping people in the town.

They are both very humble and a bit overwhelmed by the recognition, but no one knows more than we do just how much they deserve this honour.

If you can join us for the Australia Day Ceremony in Carberry Park, Gundagai on Monday to help us celebrate Wendy and Zak, we'd love to see you there!

It's been a busy week for Reverend Wendy.

It began with our memorial prayer service yesterday morning in Gundagai, where we each lit a candle in honour of the lives lost in the Bondi tragedy, and prayed for all those impacted.

This was followed by a Christmas Service at St. Paul's, Nangus.

Then this morning, Rev. Wendy conducted a Christmas service at Uralba for those in the hospital residential care, and those living at Uralba.
The room was filled with joy as the residents sang along to Christmas carols led by Micah Glazebrook. Rev. Wendy then reminded us all of the hope and joy Jesus brings and shared holy communion with the residents.

Our final service for the year will be held on Christmas Eve in St. John's Anglican church at 6pm.

We'd love to see you there!
