MOTHER'S DAY

What a wonderful celebration of women this Mother's Day. It was a fantastic opportunity to thank and honour the women in our lives through prayer, gifts, a special morning tea as well as hearing from some of them about God uses women in different seasons of life for his glory.

We are thrilled to be hosting Equip women’s 2026 conference - “Undeserving, the mystery of mercy”.

We will spend the day together as women, exploring the book of Jonah and what it means for us today.

Saturday 20th June

Cumberland City Council 's Back to Guildford Festival will be held on Saturday 23rd May and Guildford Anglican Church is excited to be hosting a stall!

There will be food trucks, muscle cars and children's activities so make sure you come on down and say hello!

Guildford Anglican Church is pleased to be offering a 4 session Parenting Course in partnership with . This course is for all seasons of parenting and offers the opportunity to learn more about parenting styles, whilst strengthening family bonds.

The course commences this Sunday from 3-5pm. Free child minding will be offered. If you are interested, please send us a DM.

On this Mother's Day, we thank our Heavenly Father for the gift of motherhood. We thank God for the mothers and mother figures who have guided and nurtured us. We also remember those who find today difficult, may they find comfort in Jesus. May God strengthen and grant wisdom the women in our churches so they may rejoice in Jesus' love for them.

God of love and liberty, we bring our thanks today or the peace and security we enjoy. We remember those who in time of war faithfully served their country.

We pray for their families, and for ourselves whose freedom was won at such a cost. Make us a people zealous for peace, and hasten the day when nation shall not lift up sword against nation neither learn war any more.

This we pray in the name of the one who gave his life for the sake of the world: Jesus Christ, our Redeemer.

guildford.youth had the most amazing time at KYCK this weekend, digging deep into the book of Jonah, worshipping Jesus with thousands of youth and being challenged to keep Jesus at the centre of their lives.
