Nominations are officially open for the first ever Beyond Dad Awards.

This Sunday is Father’s Day, and we are handing out some highly prestigious, completely unofficial awards to the dads of Griffin.

The categories:
The Bunnings Award, for the dad who has never finished a job in one trip
Fixed It With A Zip Tie
Master Of The Tongs
The Sideline Award, for the dad you can hear from the other side of the field
The Dad Joke Award

Nominate your dad, your husband, your neighbour, or the bloke who taught you how to reverse a trailer. You do not have to come to Beyond to nominate someone, and neither does he.

It's about using your courage to make a difference in someone else's day.

That might look like including someone who's feeling left out, encouraging a friend, helping without being asked, or standing up for what's right.

This week, ask your child:
💛 "Who could you encourage today?"
💛 "Who might need a friend?"
💛 "How could you show courage by helping someone else?"

Small acts of courage can have a big impact, and every child has the opportunity to make a difference.

This Sunday at UpStreet, we're helping children discover that God gives us courage—not just for ourselves, but to love and serve others.
