🚗 Teaching a teenager to drive?
For many parents, the thought of completing 100 hours behind the wheel can feel a little overwhelming.

But maybe the goal isn't just getting 100 hours signed off. The goal is helping your teenager become a confident, capable young adult. The driving is simply part of the journey.

One day they'll head out into the world on their own. These hours are helping prepare them for that journey.

So if you're navigating the learner-driver season, try not to see it as a chore. See it as an opportunity.

The driving lessons won't last forever, but the relationship you're building can. ❤️

The hall was buzzing on Saturday, Griffin. 🎬

Camp chairs and beanbags set up, kids in their pyjamas down the front, snacks getting passed along the rows, and that easy feeling of being out with your neighbours on a Saturday night.

Thank you for coming. Some of you we've known for ages, some of you we met for the first time on the night, and every one of you helped make it the warm, relaxed evening it was. That's exactly the kind of thing we love putting on for our community.

Good news if you missed it or you're already keen for the next one: our next Community Movie Night is Saturday August 29. Free, family-friendly, and even better with a few more faces, so bring the people next door.

Nearly everyone gives. But not everyone is generous.
Most of us give spontaneously. We round up at the checkout, chuck in when someone asks, help out when something tugs at us. That's giving. But generosity is different. Generosity has a plan.
Here's the reframe: saving is how you say yes to you. Generosity is how you say yes to what's important to you.
And the part nobody expects? Generosity isn't something God wants FROM you, it's something He wants FOR you. It's how you loosen money's grip on your heart and actually feel free.

If your student seems a little more tired, overwhelmed, or stretched than usual right now, they're not alone.

Sometimes what students need most isn't another reminder about what's due next week. It's a chance to take a breath, laugh with friends, and be around people who encourage them.

That's one of the things we love about Transit. This Sunday, we'll be creating space for students to connect and remember they don't have to do life on their own.
