Quiet,musical space

Musical Space 🎶

Tomorrow morning (Wednesday), our own Maggie Martin will be offering a gentle and informal Musical Space in the worship area. It’s a beautiful opportunity to invite friends or family along—no expectations, no pressure. Simply come, settle in, and enjoy an hour of light, calming piano music.

We’d love to see you here at the church from 11:30am for about an hour of music and rest 🙏

Worship and Holy Communion at Gosford this morning was led by Pastor Gray with support from the music and tech teams.

The Bible readings from Genesis 12:1-9 and Romans 4:13-25 were read by Mavis. The reflection was "You're not that dead!" as we explored how God brings life where there is barrenness and death.

Judyth led Prayers of the People. Dianne shared the notices and introduced Katrina who is taking our congregation through the Life and Witness process.

Trinity Sunday morning worship at Gosford was led by Pastor Gray with support from the music and tech teams.

The Bible readings from Genesis 1:1-2, 26-2:4 and 2 Corinthians 13:11-14 were read by Shanthi. The sermon was about 'Stepping into the life of God'.

Prayers of the People were led by Rev Arthur. Judyth shared about her Council for World Mission trip to NZ and Dianne brought us up to date with the notices.

Pentecost worship was celebrated with the theme: What Spirit are we drinking...? A curious question to set us thinking!

People remembered to wear something red and the church was dressed in red ♥️

The service was led by Pastor Gray with support from the music and tech teams. Rev Bob read the Bible readings from Genesis 11:1-9 and Acts 2:1-21. Prayers of the People were led by Robyn.

Holy Spirit,
breathe again upon your church.

Where we have traded love for power,
bring us to repentance.
Where fear has hardened us against our neighbors,
soften our hearts with compassion.
Where we have excluded those you have welcomed,
forgive us.

Pour out your Spirit again upon all flesh.
Upon the young and the old.
Upon the weary and the hopeful.
Upon the immigrant and the refugee.
Upon the poor and forgotten.
Upon every nation and every people!

And may we become again a Pentecost people: humble, courageous, compassionate, truthful, and alive with your Spirit! Amen 🙏
