Coast Bible Church

Coast Bible Church An evangelical, Bible teaching church on the Central Coast of NSW.

We are a friendly and growing community of people from many backgrounds who have found fresh hope and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. This doesn't mean we feel we have "made it" or are better than others, but that we have received because of God's generosity and not because of anything we have done. We are excited about the purpose we have found through a relationship with Jesus Christ and are c

ommitted to sharing this life changing message with others. Our Sunday meetings are contemporary in style with modern music and "come as you are" casual dress. We believe God reveals himself to us through the bible, so are committed to teaching it faithfully in easy to understand and relevant ways. If you're looking for answers for life, or to find a great church then check us out, and we look forward to meeting you soon.

Coram Deo (Habakkuk 2:1-20)

Waiting is hard! Especially when they thing we’re waiting for is justice. But God promises that everyone who trusts in Jesus will see an end to evil one day.

Which promise from Habakkuk chapter 2 is more helpful for you right now?

1. The thief will be plundered

2. The fortified will fall

3. The prosperous will gain nothing

4. The tormentor will be shamed

5. The idolator will face God

Come join us every Sunday at Coast Bible Church!

Whether you’re new to church, visiting, or looking for a church family, we’d love to welcome you as we gather together to hear from God’s Word, worship, and enjoy fellowship.

Sundays at 10:00am at Coast Bible Church!

How do you respond to the problem of evil? Habakkuk chapter 1 gives us three things we can do:

1. Bring your doubts to God

2. See that God is both sovereign and good

3. Accept that God won’t reveal everything

Which step do you need to take, so you can keep facing the evil around us (and in us)?

Coram Deo (1 Timothy 5:17-25)

Elders have a weighty role in the life of the church. Last Sunday, we saw how God calls the church to honour faithful elders, confront sinful elders, and examine potential elders (1 Tim 5:17-25).

What’s one thing you can pray for our elders at CBC (Dan and Andrew) this week?

Coram Deo (1 Timothy 5:1-16):

Here’s the stat: most of us are either gonna leave a widow, or become a widow. The question is, who will be there to care for us? And whose responsibility is it to care for the widows in your life?

On Sunday we heard that the government plays a role, but Christians can play a much bigger one. In fact, caring for widows in our church is one of the ways our Christian faith must express itself.

Do you know the names of the widows in our church? Do you know their needs? This week is a good chance to find out – perhaps pick up your church directory and send someone a message!

“But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3‬:‭21‬-‭26‬ ‭📖
