God’s generosity doesn’t just save us—it reshapes us. When we see everything as a gift from his hand, generosity becomes an act of worship rather than obligation. What would change if you viewed your time, money, and abilities through the lens of God’s generosity?

When you think about God, would “generous” make your list? The Bible presents a God who is generous in creation, salvation, and ultimately in giving us Christ. As we grasp his generosity toward us, generosity stops feeling like loss and starts feeling like participation in God’s own grace.

📖 “Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.” – 1 Chronicles 29:14

Prayer can feel like we need to come up with the perfect words, but God has already started the conversation. He speaks through his word, and we are invited to respond. What would change if you treated Bible reading less like a task and more like a conversation with God?

Sometimes we can treat prayer like knocking on a locked door, hoping someone answers. But the gospel gives a different picture: because of Jesus, the door is already open. Prayer is both hearing and speaking — hearing God’s voice in Scripture, and speaking back to him in response. Prayer begins with God’s welcome, not our performance.

What would change if you opened God’s word today and spoke back to him what you heard?

Week 1 of our new series Conversations begins tomorrow with one of the most foundational parts of the Christian life: prayer. Come explore how prayer is not just talking to God, but living daily in relationship with him through Jesus. We’ll look at how Scripture shapes our prayers, why prayerfulness matters for healthy faith, and how God invites us to draw near to him. Whether prayer feels natural or difficult, this conversation is for you.

Job reminds us that faith isn’t about getting every answer — it’s about trusting God even when life feels unresolved. The ending of Job points beyond temporary restoration to the greater hope we have in Jesus and the new creation. What loose end in your life do you need to place back into God’s hands?

One of the hardest parts of suffering is not knowing “why.” Job never receives the explanation we expect, yet he comes out the other side with something deeper — a greater vision of God himself. Sometimes God’s greatest work in suffering isn’t giving us answers, but forming trust, humility and hope in us.
Where are you struggling to trust God without having all the answers?

Final talk in the book of Job tomorrow. Job’s ending is hopeful, but it’s not neat and tidy. Even after suffering, restoration and reconciliation, there are still loose ends, reminding us that the true happy ending only comes with Jesus and the new creation. How do we trust God when we don’t get all the answers?

We are constantly being shaped by what we look at, listen to and follow.

Psalm 131 invites us into a quieter, deeper way of living trusting God instead of trying to carry everything ourselves.

What’s forming you most right now?
