Jewish Journeys is not a travel agency...well, maybe a spiritual travel agency! We exist to help you to live your Jewish life or to embrace Judaism.

Jewish Journeys is a Jewish religious services organisation headquartered in Toowoomba Queensland, Australia and serving Southeastern Queensland and beyond. Our state, whilst home to many Jews and individuals who are interested in embracing Judaism, is particularly lacking in Jewish resources. Congregations are few and far between, and most congregations lack rabbinic and other professional leadership. Our vision is: World-class Jewish services in Southeast Queensland.

Sarah and Esther common ground

Sarah, Esther, and Rabbi Akiva’s Riddle | Aleph Beta

The Torah tells us that Sarah died at 127 old. The Torah also says there were 127 provinces in the Persian empire in the days of Queen Esther. Coincidence? Rabbi Akiva didn’t think so, and neither does Rabbi Fohrman.
