365 Daily devotions Day 154: God Gives Wisdom

Scripture (Deuteronomy 1:13 NKJV):
“Choose wise, understanding, and experienced men from your tribes, and I will make them heads over you.”

Reflection: God provides leadership and guidance through wisdom. Trusting Him ensures His work is accomplished.

Prayer: Father, grant me wisdom to make decisions that honour You and lead others rightly.

365 Daily Devotions Day 153: Courage and Obedience

Scripture (Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV):
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

Reflection: God equips us with courage and peace. Fear dissipates when we remember He is with us always.

Prayer: Lord, strengthen me to act courageously and obey You fully, knowing You are by my side.

Scripture (Deuteronomy 1:31 NKJV):
“And in the wilderness, where you have seen how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.”

Reflection: God’s faithfulness has sustained us. Remembering His past provision strengthens our faith for the future.

Prayer: Father, help me recall Your faithfulness in my life and trust You for the journey ahead.

Scripture (Deuteronomy 1:21 NKJV):
“Behold, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord God of your fathers has said to you; do not fear or be discouraged.”

Reflection: God’s promises are sure, and His encouragement strengthens us to step into what He has prepared.

Prayer: Lord, help me trust Your promises and step boldly into the plans You have set before me.

Scripture (Deuteronomy 1:30 NKJV):
“The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes.”

Reflection: God goes before us, preparing the way and fighting our battles. We are called to trust and follow Him confidently.

Prayer: Father, help me follow You fearlessly, trusting that You have already made the way before me.

365 Daily Devotions Day 149: The Bronze Serpent

Scripture (Numbers 21:8-9 NKJV):
“Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.’ So Moses made a bronze serpent and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.”

Reflection: Salvation comes through faith and obedience. God provides a way of deliverance when we look to Him.

Prayer: Lord, help me trust in Your salvation and look to You in every danger and trial.

Scripture (Numbers 21:14-15 NKJV):
“Therefore it is said in the Book of the Wars of the Lord: ‘Waheb in Suphah, and the valleys of the Arnon, and the slope of the valleys that extends to the dwellings of Ar, and leans to the border of Moab.’”

Reflection: God’s guidance and protection lead to victory when we follow Him. His plans bring success in His timing.

Prayer: Father, help me walk faithfully in Your ways so that Your victory may be evident in my life.

Scripture (Numbers 20:12 NKJV):
“But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, ‘Because you did not believe Me, to uphold Me as holy in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.’”

Reflection: God calls for faith, obedience, and reverence. Mistakes teach humility and reliance on Him.

Prayer: Lord, help me honour You in all I do, trusting fully in Your guidance.

365 Daily Devotions Day 146: Moses Strikes the Rock

Scripture (Numbers 20:11 NKJV):
“Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.”

Reflection: Our human impulses may falter, but God’s grace continues to provide. Even imperfect obedience can serve His purpose.

Prayer: Father, help me act with patience and faithfulness, learning from my mistakes and trusting Your mercy.
