Sometimes it seems like the only way out you have is to give up.
It IS an option but it's not like life will give you a break because you decide to give up. It keeps demanding of us whether we keep on going or not.
It's not like it takes notice of our surrender flag. It just keeps shooting regardless.
Believe me I've tried. It just keeps shooting arrows.
It's as if life demands us to keep dealing with what's thrown at it. There is no free ticket to a totally blissful life where we have no problems. They come regardless.
Challenges aren't always in the realm of my control.
Sometimes I go the way of fight. Sometimes flight. Sometimes freeze. But until I face whatever the fear I'm experiencing I'm not growing beyond painful issues inside me.
The problem may be coming from different faces of people and directions. But really I believe they're a manifestation of what I'm being invited to look at and learn from to become a more mature and less reactionary person to outter stimuli
It doesn't matter what their doing to you. It's a divine invitational opportunity

God is freeing me more and more in this respect. Showing me just how free we really are. Each time in this journey I've been afraid. Each time he has personally reassured me. He is slow and understanding and gentle with me. He understands I'm coming out of religious ( sorry to say) abuse. That the message was hidden from me. I was attracted to finding God and I found a pew. I bored to my back teeth. Sorry to say this but I didn't put my hand up for that. I wanted /needed more. It wasn't what I signed up for.
Religion has frightened us soooooo much. So much that we want to run from the things of God thinking they must be from the devil. It must make God so sad to see us all bound up like this. Afraid of his spirit manifesting. In any way other than like a dove.
The celtish Christians called the Holy Ghost the wild goose. You can't hold him down, he goes in whatever direction he wills. We follow him not him us. We're so often threatening to kill and eat the goose hahaha.
God is slowly delivering me from the terror of believing demons will jump of people to me and hypervigilence.
I rely heavily on the witness in me when my brain wants get involved in the discerning process.
I remember a woman whom I met who I would say manifested the spirit of God in front of me in the strangest way and I said Lord???! He immediately said ' she's OK Michelle' and settled my heart.
That woman was sent to change my whole life. I was what I called at the time * activated' ( I didn't know it was a word) in the spirit that day and nothing has ever been the same. This fire I can't put out, this hunger that goes deep. So deep. Jesus reminds me " my sheep hear my voice"
Sheppard's are generally really good at looking after their sheep, it's their full time job. Jesus is no exception. In fact we have God for our shepherd. Just wow. No ordinary shepherd for me.
