Worship Coordinator (Part-Time, Maternity Leave Position)

Newlife Coolangatta seeks a part-time Worship Coordinator to lead, develop, and resource our worship ministry. You’ll roster volunteers, plan services, and nurture a vibrant, God-centred worship culture. Music leadership, team building, and creativity essential. A reflective service for the whole family as we remember the cross.
Kidzlife at 10am service.
Cafe open and hot cross buns.

8am & 10am
A full service with live worship.
Kidzlife at 8am and 10am.
Cafe open and choccy eggs.

We’re so expectant for the week ahead as we gather as a church to pray and fast together. Each day we’ll be praying into specific themes, standing together in faith and seeking God as one body.

Our first prayer gathering today was so encouraging.

🙏🏼 PRAYER & FASTING WEEK || 26th – 31st Jan

Prayer isn’t an accessory to the Christian life — it’s the foundation of it.

Prayer was central to the life of Jesus. It shaped His decisions, marked His gratitude and sustained Him in suffering. And when His disciples saw this life of prayer, they asked for one thing: “Lord, teach us to pray.”

✨ So we ask ourselves: What are you hungry for?

Our world offers many ways to fill the soul, but only God truly satisfies. As Augustine wrote, “Our hearts are restless until they find their rest in You.”

This January, we come together for a week of prayer and fasting — setting aside comfort and distraction to hunger for God, pursue intimacy with Him and align our lives with His will.

Whether you fast food, social media or something else, let it draw your hunger back to God.

Last week we had the joy and pleasure of singing carols at Kirrahaven Aged Care. So much joy was shared together between volunteers and residents 🤗

We have one last service tonight for Christmas Eve! See you at 6pm for traditional carols and a message of hope. Don’t forget to save your seat ✨
