We Pray 🙏🏼

“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might”
Ephesians 1:17-19 ESV. We don’t just want to know about God, we want to know Him.

This week, we’re honoured to share the testimony of Ken, a true man of God whose life is a beautiful example of unwavering faith and trust in Him.

While Ken currently lives in Papua New Guinea, his wife and three beautiful daughters are here, working and studying. Through every challenge, hurdle and season of uncertainty, they have continued to stand firm, choosing faith over fear and trusting God with every step.

Their lives are a reminder that God is faithful, even when we can’t see what He is doing. Their voices are like angels, their hearts are devoted to prayer, and their faith is a powerful testimony to the goodness of God. 🤍

We pray this testimony encourages you to trust God a little deeper, pray a little bolder, and never forget that He is with you through every season.

“For we live by believing and not by seeing.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NLT)

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26

Yesterday we looked at the account of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead.
Jesus is not only our teacher, our leader, or the answer to our prayers. Jesus is life itself. Our new life is found in Him.

He invites us to meet with Him in every moment of life—to walk with Him and abide in Him. And as we do, He gives us everything we need to live and walk in our new identity in Him.

Sundays like this. 🙌☀️🙏🏼
Full hearts. Full bellies. Full of joy.

We laughed with old friends, welcomed new faces, worshipped Jesus, shared coffee, enjoyed a sausage sizzle, and watched the kids make the most of a beautiful sunny day.

Together we explored the story of Mary Magdalene, a powerful reminder that no one is beyond the love, grace, and transforming power of Jesus. We finished by praying together in small groups, believing that God is still moving in our community today.

This is what church is all about. Real people. Real hope. Jesus at the centre.
