Verse of the Day: There is no other name.

Salvation isn't found in our goodness, our achievements or anything we can do. It is found in Jesus alone.

The early Christians faced pressure to stop speaking about Jesus, but they knew they had something worth sharing. The risen Jesus had given them hope, forgiveness and new life - and they couldn't keep quiet.

We can have that same confidence. Whatever pressure we face, we stand on firm ground because salvation is found in Jesus. πŸ’™

Did you catch this week's talk in our current series, π€πœπ­π¬: π‘π’π¬πžπ§. π‘πžπ’π π§π’π§π . π‘πžπšπœπ‘π’π§π ?

This week we were reminded of the simple logic of the gospel: we have sinned, God has acted, and we respond.

Repentance isn't a one-off event. It's a continual turning back to the one who refreshes and forgives our sins.

πŸ‘‰πŸ½ We don't save people. Jesus does.
πŸ‘‰πŸ½ We don't grow the church. Jesus does.
πŸ‘‰πŸ½ Our role is to respond to him in repentance, faith and witness.

The risen Jesus offers restoration, forgiveness and life - and invites us to be part of making him known. πŸ’™πŸ™πŸ½

Verse of the Day: Be made new.

Ever wished you could have a second chance? Wipe the slate clean? Start again?

Jesus offers something even better: forgiveness, refreshment and new life.

The invitation is simple: turn to God and trust in Jesus.

As we continue Acts: Risen. Reigning. Reaching, we're reminded that Jesus is still restoring lives and growing his church, even in the face of opposition.

A second chance. A clean slate. New life in Jesus. πŸ’™

Growth Groups are a smaller expression of LMAP where the Bible is central and we can explore, discuss and apply God's Word together.

They're also a place to pray, encourage one another, share life and receive more intentional pastoral care as we grow in our Christian life and ministry.

Growth Groups meet at different times and locations across the Lower Mountains.

Verse of the Day: What are you devoted to?

The early church wasn't a crowd of spectators. They were a family - devoted to learning about Jesus, sharing life together, eating together and praying. πŸ™

Church isn't just somewhere we go. It's a community we belong to, share life with and contribute to.

This week, as we continue our current series - Acts: Risen. Reigning. Reaching - we are challenged to be a church that grows deep in our devotion to Jesus and wide as we welcome others in. πŸ’™
