Day 6: The Harvest of the Servant

It is the day before Easter. The Servant has suffered, and the world is waiting in the silence of the tomb. But Isaiah promises a breakthrough: "He will see the light of life." Because of His sacrifice, "many" will be justified. Tomorrow morning, people who do not yet know Jesus will walk through the doors of LifeGate Church. They are the "harvest" of the Servant's suffering.

Today, we stand in the gap for them, praying that the seeds of invitation planted this week would burst into eternal life.

Reflection:
Spend some time in deep intercession for tomorrow’s service.
Pray for everyone who walks through our doors, and for every seat in the sanctuary—that the person sitting there would experience a "breakthrough" from death to life.

Day 5: The Substitute for All

In the economy of the Gospel, there is no "us" versus "them." We are all wandering sheep. When we pray for the lost, we aren't praying from a place of superiority; we are just one beggar telling another where to find bread.

The ultimate breakthrough is the "Great Exchange": Jesus took the weight of the world’s sin—including the sins of those who frustrate or oppose us—so we could walk in His peace. He died for the "lost sheep" just as He died for us.

Reflection:
Consider someone who feels distant or difficult to relate to. Remind yourself: "Jesus bore their iniquity, too."
Ask God to help you see them with the eyes of a Shepherd who is still searching for them.
Pray for humility and compassion for the lost.

Day 4: The Misunderstood Saviour

Many people stay away from Jesus because they have a distorted image of Him. They see a "version" of Him that is judgmental, political, or distant. Isaiah tells us that when Jesus first came, people "held him in no esteem." They missed the King because He looked like a humble Servant.

Our prayer today is for the "skeptics"—that the fog of their past hurts or religious misconceptions would be cleared away so they can see the real, beautiful, and inviting Jesus.

Reflection:
Who is a "skeptic" in your life? Spend some time praying for them.
Ask God to strip away cultural or religious barriers that keep them from seeing Christ.
Pray that they would be "astonished" by His true character when they hear the Gospel.
Pray for personal sanctification - that your life would reflect who Jesus truly is.

Day 3: The Tongue of Salvation

Fear of “saying the wrong thing” often holds us back from sharing our faith. Yet Scripture points to a different approach: a “well-instructed tongue” that sustains the weary. Many carry the quiet weight of pressure and exhaustion, and what they often need is not a complex theological debate, but a word of grace that gives them breath. God wants to wake you up today with a specific word for someone else’s breakthrough—a word that reminds them they are seen and loved.

Reflection:
Ask: "Lord, who in my life is weary today?" Listen for a name.
Ask Him for a simple, graceful word you can share with them—perhaps a message of encouragement or a simple "I'm thinking of you."
