Our guest speaker, Dr. Ron Neller, a PhD graduate in Geomorphology from the University of New England, has spent over 30 years exploring landscape dynamics across Finland, China, and Australia. As a university researcher, he specialized in fluvial landscapes, riparian ecology, and catchment management while also consulting for foreign governments and the OECD. Dr Neller stepped down from a university career in 2008 to undertake his own research, teaching, and writing.
